Peachy Nutrition was created to provide a safe space for people to grieve the idea that having the perfect diet or body will solve all their problems. Peachy Nutrition provides a place for both laughter and tears about the frustrations of living in a society full of diet culture.
Providers at Peachy all have experience working at higher levels of care for children, adolescents, and adults with eating disorders. Every Peachy team member either has their Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) certificate or is in the process of obtaining it. We are passionate about staying educated on the latest information in eating disorder care and helping our clients find joy and peace with food and their bodies.
We help navigate transitions (i.e., returning home from a higher level of care), provide meal support, talk nutrition therapy, and supported food exposures.
Our approach to health and nutrition is weight-inclusive and HAES (Health At Every Size)-aligned and will always focus on finding peace and balance with food and exercise. We believe that people of all shapes and sizes deserve respectful care. We are continuously educating ourselves to provide a safe and welcoming space for all individuals. We work to analyze eating habits together and make changes based on where you are currently and that will fit with your lifestyle.
We are committed to exceptional listening, effective collaboration, timely support, and relevant guidance in therapeutic partnership with each client. We practice soundly, staying current with fresh science that connects physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual facets of well-being.
We help our clients make healthy, long-lasting changes to experience food freedom and full recovery. We match our skill and passion with evidence -based care and the specific needs of each individual to create an environment that is safe, inclusive, and celebratory of each success on the journey to eating disorder recovery.
When individuals struggle with disordered eating or eating disorders, food often becomes a source of anxiety. Nutrition counseling is imperative in challenging eating disorder thoughts and behaviors around food to promote intuitive eating and decrease anxiety and shame around food and body image. We use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, DBT Skills, Nutrition Education/Therapy, and Experiential Techniques to aid our clients in challenging their eating disorder thoughts and behaviors.

"Alex is the BEST and I look forward to our sessions. Unlike prior providers and practices, I’ve always been treated as an individual at Peachy Nutrition. Alex takes so much time and works incredibly hard to make sure I’m getting what I need out of our time together. I’ve never felt pushed into a plan that wasn’t right for me. Alex sees me as a person, not just another client. Be prepared to be pushed to be your best, but in the most kind & compassionate way possible. I could not recommend anyone more. If she has an opening, take it before it’s gone. You won’t regret it."
"I am constantly learning new things about nutrition and how food interacts with my body in our sessions. The greatest benefit to sessions with her is that I'm having fun incorporating my new food knowledge into meal time. I very strongly recommend booking a session if you are curious about nutrition!"
"I have been working with Jessica for almost a year. I feel she has helped me reach my personal goals."
